Newborn Editing-Before & After

A few weeks past; I took a newborn class. I learned to edit and photograph newborns properly. This is my first newborn session since the class. I don't usually do before and after shots, however, here is one. I am excited about editing the rest of this session. I will upload the more shots of this newborn session so you can see my progress. The best types of photographer are those who stay educated.

To achieve this look I first corrected the color cast caused by the blue blanket. Next I cleared up the red in his skin and any bumps or scratches. Finally, I evened out his skin tone and smoothed his skin at a very low opacity. Finally I unshaped masked to make the picture crisp and added a sun flare.
