November is finally here! I am excited about the Christmas season, so many great scents, traditions, and events. The biggest event is family photo's. It's that once a year photo when all of the family is home and you capture how tall the kids are getting, how beautifully your parents are aging, and how much weight you have lost or gain over the course of a year. Family photo's are important! They freeze a moment in time and leave a lifetime of memories for future generations. This year I have 2 Christmas specials.

Winter Mini's will be done at Solutions Church in Matteson, IL. Dates are November 20 and December 10. This session is $100. The session includes 10 digital images, a 10x13 print or a print package of your favorite pose. A print package includes 1-8x10, 2-5x7s, 8-wallets. Print packages are per request only. So, if you would like a print package please let me know during your session.

 The 2nd session is the Christmas Mini Session. This session is unique because I come to your home. I bring my studio lighting and backgrounds to you. This option is great for smaller kids and large families. Getting ready is a breeze when you don't have to leave home. It's less stress on everyone. I arrive 15 minutes before your session to set up my in home studio. Your session will last 1 hour/  This package includes 5 prints of your choice. Print sizes are 10x13, 8x10, 5x7s or 4x6s. You will also receive your choice of 4-3x5 magnets or a Christmas Ornament of your favorite photo. Your session will also include digital images for you to make Christmas cards, prints, and personalized gifts.

All sessions that book an in home session for the month of November will receive a Custom Christmas ornaments. Call or email to book your session.

The Love between Mothers & Daughters

I had the pleasure of photographing these two for Mothers Day. Aren't they absolutely beautiful. I loved how sweet they were. Miss Layla reminded me of myself when I was a child. She was so much fun and full of energy. I love taking sessions like these because children grow up so quickly. Your children will always cherish memories like these when they are adults. 

Family Time

What was suppose to be a fun spring outdoor session, turned into a fun spring indoor session. The rain tried to put a damper on a day, but we had rainy day fun inside. I love photographing the Pharr family. They are so much fun to be around. The last time I saw them Alexander was crawling, now he's walking all over the place. Look who's 2!

After two failed attempts, I finally was able to capture my son for his 2 year birthday pictures. I was going to hire a photographer to take them, but had a change of heart. I think they came out pretty great. With a little bribery, cookies, and my goofiness I caught his personality on camera. I can not believe that he is

 2 years old. Where has the time gone!

The Scruggs Family

This is the second occasion that I have had to photography this lovely family. They are so loving and nice. I enjoy taking there images. They have two sons and the oldest was quite the model. He was ready for his photo shoot. He was loving the camera so much that he didn't want his little brother to have the spotlight. I had a wonderful time with this family and look forward to taking there photo's as there boys grow older.

Bridal Shower Bliss

What a wonderful celebration between family and friends. Bethany was proposed to in France. So what better place to have her surprise location bridal shower then MonAmiGABI. The location was perfect and a few simple details pulled everything together. The best part of all was the vanilla french toast with cinnamon apples. It was mouth watering. 

Bethany is going to be a beautiful bride on her wedding day. She truly is a sweet soul. I wish her the best in her marriage and many blessings!

Happy Birthday Donovan!

Look who's 1! I can't believe that a year went by so quickly. Watching this little guy grow up was a joy! He was made to be in front of a camera. His cake smash session was a success, he was no stranger to the yumminess of whipped cream icing. I love the comparison image of him in the suitcase at 3 months and one year. They grow up so quickly...enjoy these moments!

Little Miss Emma

It's always a joy to see Emma. I love watching her grow up and seeing her little personality begin to form.

 She is such a sweet little girl, however this session was very special. Not only was she all grown up and as adorable as can be, she was cooperative. We got some awesome smiles and great images of her for her 18 month session.

Friendship is a Blessing

Today I had the honor and privilege to attend a one of a kind event. On her special day instead of celebrating her 40th birthday, Traci decided to celebrate all of the women who molded her to become the woman she is today. With 12 of her cloest friends  -many that she has know for 20+ years-  she toasted and saluated each of them individually. Each person was unique in how they helped her in life and how in return she also helped them. It was a beautiful party full of moments, tears, and happiness. What an awesome idea. Traci you are truly blessed.
